Would you prefer your roof be furnished and installed by local craftsmen? Then you will be quite limited in the contractors you can choose from because many residential roofing companies sub-contract their roof installations to "independent contractors", typically consisting of migrant workers. These "independent contractors" are routinely hired to install roofs sold by your local "Name Recognized Roofing Companies", not necessarily because there aren't enough local workers to do the work, but because it can save these roofing companies a lot of money by taking advantage of loopholes to reduce or even avoid employer's taxes, worker's compensation insurance, general liability insurance, etc, etc. And "independent contractors" are often willing to work for less than local craftsmen. However, more often than not, we find the quality of workmanship provided by "independent contractors" to be far inferior to the workmanship provided by the local craftsmen we employ. Attribute this phenomenon to pride in workmanship, training, experience, or simply the desire to maintain a higher wage for a higher level of expertise & qualifications, but Larry Vaught Roofing's employees do a much better job of installing roofs than the typical "independent contractor". Not only do our employees do a better job, but our customers frequently compliment our roofers as being "courteous", "polite", and a "pleasure" to work with! I can't imagine we would receive compliments of this nature if we were not providing local craftsmen who are able to communicate with our customers (i.e. well versed in the English language!)
