Installation of metal valley flashing (i.e. "open Valley" method)
Metal valley flashing is fastened to roof deck with a pass of underlayment /
ice barrier centered beneath the metal valley flashing.
Roof mastic is applied over the sides of the metal valley flashing.
Roofing is installed over and sealed to the metal valley flashing.
