The Master Craftsman™ Roofing Contractor program provides education in every aspect of shingle installation techniques, and the approved procedures for installing all CertainTeed shingles. The program utilizes the Shingle Applicator’s Manual and covers topics such as good workmanship practices, roof systems, estimating, flashing, ventilation, and product installation instructions for all of CertainTeed’s shingle products.
To become a Master Craftsman™ Roofing Contractor we have:
- Passed the Master Craftsman™ Roofing Contractor test after studying the Shingle Applicator’s Manual per annual requirements & testing standards
- The Master Craftsman™ Roofing Contractor annual testing is a requirement for the ShingleMaster™ Program
Achieving a Master Craftsman™ Modified Bitumen Designation Represents:
- Our knowledge of CertainTeed built up-roofing (non-modified), modified bitumen, and/or liquid-applied roofing products and systems.
